About Ashley

Ashley Cartun is a sound healing practitioner, educator, and wellness facilitator who creates restorative experiences designed to help people slow down, release stress, and reconnect with themselves.

After her experience with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, Ashley discovered firsthand the profound impact that sound, meditation, and supportive community can have on healing, resilience, and nervous system regulation.

Drawing on nearly two decades as an educator, she brings a warm, trauma-informed, and community-centered approach to every experience, helping people feel safe, seen, and supported.

My  Story

Music and sound have always been central to my life.

From singing and performing as a child to dancing, playing instruments, and participating in choirs and bands, sound has long been a source of expression, comfort, and connection.

That connection deepened in 2023 during my breast cancer treatment. In the midst of chemotherapy, surgeries, and recovery, sound healing, meditation, humor, and community helped me find moments of peace in an incredibly difficult season.

That experience changed me and ultimately led me to this work.

My Approach

My work is shaped not only by my training as a musician and in sound healing but also by my background in education.

As a former middle and high school teacher and current university professor, I have spent nearly twenty years creating environments where people feel engaged, supported, and safe to show up fully as themselves.

That foundation informs every sound bath, workshop, and wellness experience I offer.

I blend sound healing, guided meditation, mindfulness, gentle reflection, and educational elements to help people understand how sound supports the body, nervous system, and emotional well-being.

I have facilitated experiences for individuals, private groups, workplaces, community organizations, and large conferences.

My work has supported hundreds of women around the world navigating breast cancer, as well as grief groups, recovery communities, academic spaces, neurodivergent individuals, adults with special needs, and participants across the lifespan, from children to older adults.

Every experience is thoughtfully adapted to meet the unique needs of the people in the room.
